“Draining the swamp…” Shouldn’t we be destroying it?

First of all…

Question: Who called government a swamp in the first place? Is this the first time you have heard the term “swamp.”

Answer: Ronald Reagan. So this is not an original term. When RR said it, at least he was empathetic in his delivery (showmanship can get you a long way).

Secondly,

Drain the swamp? As an American, I really think you, DJT, need to be turning that swamp into a vacation resort or something. Mr. President, you said you were going to drain the swamp, which bothers me because common sense leads one to the conclusion that one only drains something to eventually fill it back up. My question to you, Mr. President is to fill it up with what?

And before I forget,

The idea of a swamp is not a pleasant thought; on that I think most of modern day American citizens can agree. So, Mr. President, ok that’s enough, do you mind if I call you Donnie? Ok, Donnie… I don’t want Russian Mob tactics dictating the livelihood of the free world, and I think I can speak on behalf of the majority, not the House, but the People.

In the words of another Keith, well more famous than I, “something just ain’t right!” If every news outlet, alternate news outlet (except the qanon gang), and every barbershop and beauty shop other than FOX news and your alt-right elitest boys are saying the same thing… I think it’s safe to call Houston, because we have a problem.

Multiple indictments, everyone of importance has flipped, and he is pushing through one insane policy after another for reasons that boggle the most exercised of minds. There is no adherence to law in this administration. If you understand the system that our foundation was set upon you would understand the frustration of the country. We are a nation of nations. Multicultural, free choice of denomination, and one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

In summary, we are living out history. The daily drama that we are witnessing has no precedent. The swamp has been drained, but filled with more deadlier and bigger crocodiles and alligators. I think it’s safe to say that the people understand that there is a certain amount of corruption in politics… I mean, there’s a certain amount of corruption that takes place in one’s usual advocation. But, when the CEO, or in this case, the POTUS blatantly spews a sense of division and negativity, it tends to generate down to the masses. In this present moment I would like to coin a term commonly used in managment, “it all starts at the top.”

Kavanaugh, midterms, 2020… everything is at stake. The swamp was drained and Mueller, through his diligent work, has shown us the enemy…

And it is us.

Steadfast America.
